Animal People

My dad has always said that term with bewilderment… as in, “you animal people baffle me.”  I double puffy heart all animals big and small, and when you’re around the ones we are, it’s hard to feel differently. 

Between the squirrels that practically eat out of our hands to the gorillas in captivity who seem so human, I just love them.  Tyler and Caroline do too.

I mean really, I dare someone to think Chaka isn’t awesome.
