I've developed a bad habit lately of taking 100 pictures in five minutes. The result of this habit is too many pictures to blog about, but so many that are worth posting. I want to remember everything, as you all know, so I might do a few of these "clean up" posts. Bear with me!
A few weeks ago, Nathan decided we should have our first easter egg hunt in the back yard. Although Caroline and Tyler were soaking wet and covered in mud, they didn't seem to mind the idea so I ran inside and pulled out all the plastic eggs from my "stash" in the closet (patiently waiting on April 24th, of course). We didn't have high expectations that they would grasp the whole concept, but funny enough, they picked up on exactly what those eggs were about the minute they found the first one. Tyler tore it open and saw that I'd put a peppermint in it (I was trying to hurry and that was all I could find, don't laugh!), so he threw the entire thing on the ground and began searching for the next one. Clearly, peppermints are not toddler-enticing... hopefully the jelly beans the Easter Bunny delivered will go over much better :) Caroline, on the other hand, couldn't have cared less what was inside the eggs. Her mission was to capture as many as possible and put all of them in her basket, thus getting completely irritated if Tyler beat her to it.
Last time Granna visited for the weekend, C & T decided they were going to put on a show. They are so silly and just love to try and fit in the baby doll stroller and pack n play. I can't tell you how many times I think "hmmm, they sure are being quiet..." and walk in to find them both stuffed into that tiny play pen. They'll sit there as long as I'll let them, and believe it or not, no one's hair has been ripped out yet (this happened in the grocery store yesterday in the real stroller, but that's another story for another day).
And finally, Caroline and I decided to run a few errands on Friday by ourselves. Nathan was post-call and wanted to spend time with Tyler, so she and I dressed for the rain and headed out. I kept calling her my little "sporty spice" all morning because she looked so stinkin' cute in her itty-bitty warm up suit, so Nathan offered to take our picture together before we left. I wish she'd been smiling, but oh well.
When we returned, she decided to make sure my new wedges got broken in. This girl loves shoes!!

Happy Easter! Love all the photos... little sporty spice is too cute.
